- The club was founded in 2003 and has grown bigger each year with 2017 being one of the most successful years the club has seen. The club trains two-three times a week at Settlers Dam where the canoes are stored in the racks there. Settlers Dam is situated in Thomas Baines Reserve and is a 20 minute drive from Grahamstown. The reserve and dam boasts beautiful scenery and many antelope including buffalo, kudu and waterbuck.
