- Al-Anon members are people, just like you, who are worried about someone with a drinking problem. Al-Anon offers understanding help; support to families and friends of problem drinkers. Our program is adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous and is based upon the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts of Service. Come to a meeting.The only requirement is that you have a relative or friend with a drinking problem. Your anonymity is protected. There are no fees for membership – we are self-supporting through voluntary contributions.
