The object of the Society is to advance the science of palaeontology in Southern Africto serve the common interests and facilitate the cooperation of all persons concerned with the study of evolution, comparative anatomy and taxonomy. The Society is particularly concerned with the conservation and preservation of fossil sites and the promotion of heritage awareness
